Started Hartshorn Studio in Williamsburg about two years ago in memory of her grandmother and a dear friend, both of whom were immensely creative and inspiring to her. She first discovered her passion for textile and fiber art in high school, but it wasn’t until her 40’s that she dove head first into developing her skills in macrame, tapestry weaving and needle work. Being a maker in Brooklyn has given her so much inspiration, support and a real sense of community with the myriad other crafters, makers and creative people who populate there city.

I enjoyed the class and I loved the finish product. I just wish the teacher had been more patient and explicit, but I'm pretty sure she was a newish teacher.
