Teaches at New York School of the Arts

Michele Liebler received her B.F.A. from Purchase College in painting and drawing and her M.F.A. from Brooklyn College. She studied with Mary Beth McKenzie. She has exhibited in such venues as Parrish Art Museum, Arnot Art Museum, National Academy Museum, Butler Institute of American Art and private collections internationally. She received numerous awards including Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, GIP Grant, Horlick Painting Award, and Arnot Art Museum Award for Painting. She is represented by First Street Gallery in NYC.

Michelle is fabulous. Not only is she a wonderful artist but she is a great teacher. She critiques very and supportively with great suggestions.

Do not feel this class was for beginners Had no direction at all. Did not know what I was doing or had any guidance. Should not be for beginners

Michelle was a fantastic teacher. She was what made the class. There was lots of personal hands on help as the enrollment was pretty low. I also must say I enjoyed the extra space in the room due to the low enrollment but I am sure that will all change as word of the school gets out there.
