Ethan Fixell

Certified Cicerone, CSS, and CSW Ethan Fixell is a passionate beverage journalist and educator. Currently the Editor-in-Chief of The Beer Necessities, he has written about beer, wines, and spirits for Food & Wine, Tasting Table, Men's Journal, Travel + Leisure, Vanity Fair, and Quartz, among many other publications. Before working as Beer Director for Merchants Hospitality in NYC, Ethan began his career as a touring comedian, appearing multiple times on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, and as the co-star and co-creator of "Dave & Ethan: Lovemakers" on NBC's digital platform Seeso.​
