Ryan Ross was born and raised in in the foothills of Colorado, where a good Whisky can not only be paired with a farm to table meal, but with a lifestyle as well - attributes Ryan has refused to shed since he relocated to New York. 

Anyone who has met Ryan is surprised to learn that he studied various sciences, graduating with degrees in both Microbiology and Biochemistry. Having an advanced understanding of both of these fields opened up the category of Whisky into a whole new micro-detailed dimension, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the spirit.

While bartending in the micro-brewery capital of the world during college, Ryan enjoyed the challenge of using craft beer as a platform to win over new whisky enthusiasts that sat down at his well. Now that whisk(e)y is sweeping the nation as the spirit of choice, Ryan thrives in developing different education programs for mixologists, whisky enthusiasts, and even celebrity consumers! However, whether an A-list actor, or a patron at the bar, Ryan will gladly sit down and have a conversation with you. 

At heart Ryan is a born entertainer, having studied acting and improv in Denver and New York City. These natural born skills along with an ability to speak to Whisky on a micro-detailed level have allowed Ryan to connect and captivate a wide variety of audiences. Whether a veteran whiskey connoisseur or a freshly converted beer consumer, it can be guaranteed that each will take home a new learning and deeper appreciation for Whisky after spending an evening with Ryan Ross.
