J. Hamilton Ray is founder and president of Top Dog Media, Inc., a company that specializes in adapting children's literature to film and television. He has twice been awarded the national Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Children's Series (Between the Lions, PBS). He also created animated video versions of the Dr. Seuss, PD Eastman, and Berenstain Bears picture book series for Random House. He received the CINE Golden Eagle Award for Best Directing of an Animated Film for Duke Ellington, Scholastic Inc. His debut children's book will be released next year by Random House.
