Jeff Hopkins

Teaches at ESS Community Projects

Jeff Hopkins is a children’s book illustrator, storyteller, and educator.
Hopkins has performed his “Pictures Come to Life” storytelling program at such institutions as the Guggenheim Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and Museum of Arts and Design.  For the past ten years, he has worked as a teaching artist for museums and arts organizations including The Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Jewish Museum, and the American Ballet Theatre.​ His illustrated book “The Only One Club” by Jane Naliboff was named a 2005 Society of School Librarians International Honor Book.  Hopkins received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Masters in Education from Harvard University.
