Olga Statsenko

Teaches at New York Fencing Academy

Olga teaches epee to New York Fencing Academy’s younger students. She draws from her considerable experience as a competitive athlete whose achievements include 1997 Russian Champion, Medalist of Russian Championships and Cups from 1997 to 2005, Silver Medalist of World University Games in 1997, and Finalist in several World Cups. Olga was ranked number five in Russia before the 2000 Olympic Games, missing the Olympics by just one spot. She was a member of the Russian National Team from 1997 to 2004. Olga earned her degree from the Academy of Physical Education and Sports in Kuban, Russia.
