Amanda Shendruk is an award-winning visual journalist and data visualization expert. She has worked as a graphics journalist at the Pulitzer-award-winning Guardian and led data visualization efforts at Canada’s largest news magazine, Maclean’s Magazine. She is currently head of data visualization at the Council on Foreign Relations, working with academics to make complex foreign policy concepts accessible to a wider audience. Interested in the data as much as the visualization, Amanda has held both public and workshops teaching the process of creating compelling and accurate visualizations for a variety of audiences.
