What you'll learn in this kids cooking class:

Grab an apron and let's get cooking as we whip up some of our favorite fall recipes completely from scratch. From ooey-gooey Pumpkin Mac & Cheese to pink Cheddar Beet Biscuits and scrumptious Apple Pie Bites, our seasonal recipes are sure to please. Limited-size live classes are full of excitement and connection. Designed to provide children ages 6 to 15 the opportunity to gather together from the comforts of home as we have fun together in the Kitchen. We'll master new kitchen skills from measuring wet/dry ingredients to knife skills as we work our way towards Kitchen independence. Get ready for some kitchen fun - this will be the highlight of your week!

All recipes are vegetarian. If your family has food allergies, many recipes can be easily adjusted in your home to fit gluten-free, dairy-free or egg-free needs!

Live Online Class:

We'll be sharing the same amazing culinary entertainment you'd get if you were in our Kitchen, except you can be in your jammies (no judgement here).

Unlimited On Demand Access:

Can't join us live? You will receive access to our class recording to watch on-demand so you can cook along with us whenever is the best time for you! Unlimited access to our on demand classes is available throughout the semester for full-series registrants.

Participation:

Participation is for children with an adult present to chaperone and assist as needed. Our goal is for the kids to do as much of the cooking as they can. Depending on the day we will be using knives, peelers, zesters/graters and the oven throughout our series so based on your child's age and kitchen comfort, you will be their sous-chef as needed. Otherwise, we want parents to sit back and enjoy!

Shopping List & Ingredients:

After registering, you will receive access to our shopping list for each class along with the recipes so that you can purchase what you need to actively participate. Most ingredients are pantry staples and/or readily available in most grocery stores.

Accessing the Class:

You will need to download the free Zoom app onto your desktop, tablet or phone before the class. You will receive a separate email that includes a Zoom link to our online class. We recommend joining from a laptop to see better but tablets work just fine as well.


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY (In-Person Classes): Registrations are non-refundable. Cancellation notice must be received by email 48 hours prior to the start time of your event to receive kitchen credit, less a 10% cancellation fee. For multi-day camps and semesters, cancellation notice must be received 48 hours prior to the first day of the registered series to receive credit for the entire series; we are not able to offer partial cancellations or makeup classes for individual sick days that are missed. Kitchen credits expire 6 months from the date of your request.

No refunds or kitchen credits will be issued when fewer than 48 hours notice is provided. Taste Buds Kitchen is unable to make exceptions to this policy for scheduling conflicts, last-minute illnesses or no shows. If you cannot attend your event for any reason, you are always welcome to send a friend in your place, and we hope that you do!

CANCELLATION POLICY (Online/Virtual Classes): Bookings for online classes and events are non-refundable. For public classes, you are always welcome to send the link to someone else to enjoy the class.
