Kyoung Eun Kang
Kyoung eun Kang is a Korean artist based in New York. Her work varies in format from live performance to video, drawing, photography and sound pieces. Kang earned an MFA from Parsons the New School for Design in New York and MFA from Hong – ik University in Seoul, Korea. Kang participated in the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine, LES Rotating studio program at Artist Alliance INC in New York, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art residency in Omaha, and NARS Foundation Art residency in Brooklyn. Kang was awarded a NYFA fellowship in Video in 2010. Kang has exhibited at the National Museum of Modern Art in Korea, the Museum of Imperial City in China, Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery in Australia, The Kitchen, HERE Arts Center, A.M Richard Fine Arts, A.I.R gallery, White Box, and Socrates Sculpture Park in New York.
